MULTAN : Gareeb Awam Party Chief Organizer Aurangzeb Hussaini has expressed concern over rising inflation and poverty, saying that economic hardships have made it increasingly difficult for low-income families to meet their daily needs.
He said the petroleum levy and rising fuel prices were contributing to higher costs of essential commodities, further burdening the poor.
Hussaini urged the government to introduce effective and practical measures to provide immediate relief to the public and ease the financial pressure on struggling households.
He called for a comprehensive strategy to stabilise the prices of petrol, ghee, flour, sugar and other essential items, alongside utility bills.
He stressed that addressing public grievances and ensuring access to basic necessities should remain among the government’s top priorities.
According to Hussaini, targeted relief measures and price stability are essential to help low-income families cope with prevailing economic difficulties and improve their living conditions. He urged the authorities to take concrete steps to reduce the burden of inflation on ordinary citizens.
