Islamabad : Beaconhouse Group’s thought-leadership series, SOT Events, will hold its twentieth edition, Possible Worlds, in three cities. It opens at Ambiance Boutique Art Hotel, Islamabad, on 24 October, then moves to Faletti’s Hotel, Lahore, on 28-29 November, and concludes at the Beach Luxury Hotel, Karachi, on 12 December. All events are free and open to the public.
The theme treats the future as branching alternatives shaped by today’s decisions, organized around four worlds: Automated, Warming, Divided, and the Worlds We Choose. Educators, technologists, policymakers, journalists, and artists will join panels, fireside chats, and debates, alongside live performances and interactive installations.
Chair and Beaconhouse CEO Kasim Kasuri said the three-city format will bring more voices into a conversation that concerns everyone.
Since 2000, SOT has hosted over 1,000 sessions and 1,500 speakers, drawing more than 200,000 attendees. Past guests include Mahathir Mohamad, Dr Tedros, and Noam Chomsky.
