Rawalpindi, November 3: Pakistan has conducted a successful flight test of Fa’az, its first indigenously developed air-to-air missile, which the ISPR described as a significant milestone for the country’s aerospace and defense capabilities.
Equipped with a state-of-the-art terminal guidance system, the missile can engage enemy aerial targets at longer ranges. The ISPR said Fa’az will significantly enhance the operational flexibility of the Pakistan Air Force and strengthen the country’s overall defense posture. The test, it added, underscores the technical maturity, innovation and self-reliance achieved by Pakistan’s defense industry.
Senior officers of the armed forces, along with scientists and engineers who played a pivotal role in the missile’s development, witnessed the launch.
The President, the Prime Minister, the COAS and CDF, and the services chiefs congratulated the scientists and engineers on the achievement.
