Takht Bhai ، Jamaat-e-Islami PK-60 Ameer Noman Yousaf, adopting the toughest stance on alleged corruption, loot-sharing and nepotism in Takht Bhai Headquarters Hospital, said that if the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and his administration get time off from the anti-encroachment operation, they should take notice of corruption in Takht Bhai Headquarters Hospital.He expressed these views while addressing an emergency press conference at Takht Bhai Press Club (Registered). He said that the former Advisor for Health opened the door to corruption by appointing a non-qualified doctor as MS, after which the hospital has reached the verge of collapse.General Secretary of PK-60 Haji Islam Din and President of Islamic Lawyers Forum and Naib Ameer of PK-60 Mushtaq Ahmad Advocate were also present on the occasion.Severely criticizing PTI, Noman Yousaf said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf had made tall claims of eradicating corruption, supremacy of merit and freeing institutions from political interference, but after coming to power, it put all its objectives aside.He revealed that the total budget of the hospital is Rs. 340 million including salaries, while the medicine budget is only Rs. 3.4 million and the budget for OPD, X-ray and laboratory is merely Rs. 2 million per annum. He said clear corruption has been committed in the 20 percent share of Sehat Card and 30 percent share of Jawan Card, for which complete record exists.He said that during the PTI government, funds were distributed among favourite persons through focal persons and expenses were paid from the government exchequer to run Hujras. The hospital lacks facilities and all departments are badly affected،Jamaat-e-Islami demanded that،An independent inquiry and strict accountability should be conducted against the corruption in the hospital.Those involved should be given exemplary punishment.An honest and qualified doctor should be appointed as MS in the hospital.
The hospital should be upgraded from Category C to Category B.Addressing the PTI workers, Noman Yousaf said that if their conscience is alive, they should question their leaders who took votes in the name of Imran Khan and committed corruption. Those who committed corruption are still hiding behind the name of Imran Khan.In the end, he made a categorical announcement that if our demands are not met, we will stage an indefinite sit-in in front of the THQ Hospital and will continue to expose the corrupt mafia.
