Karachi: Lucky Investments Limited announced in Karachi on 12 October the launch of Lucky Islamic Capital Protected Fund Plan I (LICPFP I), a Shariah-compliant plan designed to offer competitive returns while protecting investors’ principal.
The fund dynamically allocates between Shariah-compliant listed equities and Shariah-compliant money market and fixed-income instruments. This lets investors take part in equity market growth while keeping a focus on capital protection over the plan’s duration.
LICPFP I has a two-year duration and a medium risk profile. The minimum initial investment is PKR 5,000, with subsequent investments starting at PKR 1,000. The fund launched on 8 October 2026, and subscriptions run from 9 to 30 October 2026.
CEO Mohammad Shoaib, CFA, called the plan an innovative addition to the company’s Shariah-compliant range. He said many investors want growth while staying mindful of protecting their capital, and that the plan meets that need through a disciplined, dynamic allocation approach. He added that the company remains committed to serving different investor objectives, risk profiles and horizons, with high standards of governance and trust.
The launch widens Lucky Investments’ portfolio of Shariah-compliant mutual funds and pension solutions. These span money market, income, equity, dividend yield, energy, pension and capital-protected categories.
