HYDERABAD :A delegation of the Hyderabad Press Club, led by Secretary Ashok Sharma, visited the Hyderabad Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industry (HCSTSI) and congratulated its newly elected President Nadeem Ahmed Siddiqui and other office-bearers.
The delegation extended best wishes to Senior Vice President Muhammad Fahad Mian, Vice President Irfan Aribiani and other members on assuming their new responsibilities.
The delegation also included Treasurer Akram Shahid and Governing Body members Hameed-ur-Rehman, Javed Ali, Zafar Hakro, Sohail Ansari and Anwar Chandio.
Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Sharma said both institutions shared a common objective of promoting Hyderabad’s development, highlighting public issues and contributing to their resolution. He expressed hope that the new Chamber leadership would further strengthen cooperation between the media and business communities.
HCSTSI President Nadeem Ahmed Siddiqui thanked the delegation for its visit and good wishes. He emphasised that free, responsible and constructive journalism played an important role in highlighting civic problems and drawing the attention of relevant authorities.
He said the Chamber would continue working to address business community concerns, improve civic amenities and promote a business-friendly environment through effective coordination with media organisations and other stakeholders.
