Hyderabad: Former Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim expressed solidarity with senior journalist Abdul Ghafoor Sarohi during a meeting. He condemned the alleged police misconduct involving the journalist and expressed regret over the incident.
Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim appreciated Sarohi’s journalistic efforts against drugs, saying his determination was a matter of pride for the journalism profession and reflected his commitment to his homeland and its people.
He said drugs were destroying generations and stressed that citizens, journalists, and political and social circles should work together to combat the menace.
“Raising a voice against drugs is a struggle to protect the future of the next generation,” he said.
