Islamabad :The Islamabad Club hosted the final of the Nanga Parbat Polo Cup, drawing a large gathering of diplomats, club members, and polo enthusiasts for an afternoon of top-class polo.
With its lush green grounds and serene surroundings, the Islamabad Club Polo Club is one of the finest polo venues in the country. It offers players and spectators alike a beautiful setting for the sport, and it continues to play an important role in promoting polo in the federal capital.
H.E. Ugo Ciarlatani, Ambassador of Italy to Pakistan, and Mrs. Vanessa Mancini Ciarlatani graced the occasion as chief guests. They were joined by members of the diplomatic community, club members, and their families.
The final was played between the HN Polo Team and the ASEAN Polo Team. Both sides showed excellent skill and determination, and the spectators enjoyed a fast-paced and competitive match. HN Polo Team controlled the game with well-coordinated play and won 9 goals to 5 to lift the Nanga Parbat Polo Cup.
At the close of the match, the chief guests presented the trophy to the winning team. They congratulated both teams on their fine display of horsemanship and sportsmanship and appreciated the Islamabad Club for organizing such a memorable event.
The tournament was another successful addition to the club’s polo calendar. It reflects the Islamabad Club’s commitment to promoting the sport and bringing the community together.
