Faisalabad: In the next phase of its movement against the petroleum levy surcharge, Jamaat-e-Islami will hold protest sit-ins across the country today (Friday). Workers will gather in front of the Faisalabad Press Club at 3 pm.
District Ameer Professor Mehboob-uz-Zaman Butt warned that if the nation does not wake up, the “IMF slave rulers” will turn the people into beggars. Calling the levy surcharge illegal, he said remaining silent amounts to death, and urged people to leave their homes and join Jamaat-e-Islami’s protest programs.
