ISLAMABAD : inDrive, a global mobility and urban services platform, has partnered with Tech Valley, a Google for Education Premier Partner, to launch Digital Safar, a free online digital-safety and artificial intelligence (AI) literacy programme for 300 children of inDrive drivers in Pakistan.

The three-week initiative will provide live online classes in Urdu for students in grades 6-10. Family orientation will be held in Islamabad on October 17, with classes running from October 19 to November 9, 2026.

Minister of State for Federal Education Wajiha Qamar welcomed the initiative, emphasising the importance of online safety and responsible AI use.

Drawing on Google’s “Be Internet Awesome” and “Gemini Academy” curricula, the programme will teach students to identify fraudulent messages, protect online accounts, create strong passwords and critically evaluate AI-generated information.

Tech Valley CEO Umar Farooq and inDrive Pakistan Country Lead Awais Saeed said the partnership aims to expand access to digital education and prepare children for future opportunities.

The initiative supports broader efforts to promote digital literacy, responsible technology use and accessible STEM education across Pakistan.
