Bhimber: Former President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and prominent political figure Raja Zulqarnain Khan has passed away, prompting an outpouring of grief across the state’s political, social and public circles.
He was regarded as one of the notable figures in the political history of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. During his career, he served the state in its highest constitutional office as President, held several other important constitutional positions, and rendered valuable services to the state.
According to his family, the funeral prayers will be offered today, Sunday, November 8, at 11:00 am in his native village of Thathi Kasgma, Bhimber.
Prayers were offered for the departed soul to be granted a high place in paradise, and for his bereaved family to be given strength and patience to bear the loss.
