CBD Punjab Advances Lahore’s Transformation as CBD Walk Nears Launch and Route 47 Gets First Petrol Station

Bureau Report

Lahore: The Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (CBD Punjab) has reported major progress on three projects: CBD Walk, Route 47 and CBD Lake.

Elevation work on all commercial units at CBD Walk is complete, and the retail and fine-dining destination is expected to become operational soon. The development has 32 commercial units, each on four marlas, with basements, ground floors, two additional floors and rooftop spaces. Travertine and glass have been installed across the exteriors.

Route 47’s first petrol station, located near CBD Walk, is now operational, offering added convenience to motorists, commuters and visitors.

Meanwhile, upgrading of CBD Lake is moving ahead. The lake spans more than 20 kanals, is 25 feet deep and can store an estimated five million gallons of rainwater. It will support groundwater recharge and supply water for construction activities. Marble is being installed on the base and slopes, and high-tech aeration fountains will be added.

CEO Imran Amin said the authority is committed to modern commercial destinations, improved infrastructure and sustainable development, supporting Lahore’s emergence as a business and investment hub.
