Islamabad: Maulana Dr. Ahmed Ali Siraj, a Madinah-based Islamic scholar and World Secretary General of the International Khatm-e-Nubuwwat Movement, visited Madrassa Ma’had-ul-Dirasat-ul-Islamia and Jamia Masjid Al-Munir in F-6/3, Islamabad, on 6 November 2026. He led the Friday prayers and delivered the sermon.
Maulana Asadullah Abbasi, the madrassa’s Mohtamim and Khatib, welcomed the guest and briefed him on the institution’s educational, teaching and administrative activities. Advocate Shakeel of the High Court and several senior government officials were also present.
Dr. Siraj met the students, reviewed their studies and offered them encouragement. The students expressed happiness at meeting the visiting scholar.
He was told that the madrassa combines Quran memorization (Hifz) and religious education with formal schooling, with students sitting examinations up to the secondary level (Classes 9 and 10). Dr. Siraj expressed satisfaction with this integration and called it a praiseworthy initiative. He particularly appreciated efforts to equip young people with the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah while preparing them for modern education requirements.
Maulana Abbasi described the visit as a great honour for the institution and thanked the guest. Dr. Siraj conveyed his best wishes to the administration and students.
