Islamabas: Ambassador Sohail Mahmood, Secretary-General of the D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation, spoke to Daily Sabah about the group’s growing economic significance, expanding cooperation agenda and vision for the future.
He highlighted the organization’s target of raising intra-D-8 trade to USD 500 billion by 2030. To support this goal, he said, the D-8 aims to deepen cooperation in trade, investment, technology, education, youth engagement and climate action.
