Isalamabad: Zong has won four awards in the Telecommunication category at the Asian Innovation Excellence Awards 2026, held in Singapore on 20 October, reinforcing its position as Pakistan’s leading technology services enterprise.
The company took Pakistan Brand Innovation of the Year for its AI-powered 5G launch campaign, “AIsa Hai Future,” which used AI as both creative medium and message, helping close the brand equity gap and achieve parity in unaided 5G brand association.
Pakistan Technology Innovation of the Year went to Zong’s in-house Self-Intelligent RAN Optimization platform, which autonomously detects congestion, applies corrective actions and verifies results, improving network reliability during peak demand.
The “My5 – Family Sharing Package” earned Pakistan Consumer Service Innovation of the Year. It bundles flexible family connectivity with embedded insurance, lifestyle perks and streaming access, and serves as an alternative to home broadband.
DI-CAPE, a digital commission governance engine, won Pakistan Financial Innovation of the Year for improving transparency and efficiency across Zong’s distribution ecosystem.
Spokesperson Nabila Yazdani said the wins validate Zong’s technology leadership and its focus on 5G, AI and home-grown innovation.
