Singapore: Tech Valley has received the Award of Appreciation for Excellent Partnership from Google for Education at the Google Partner Summit APAC 2026. Founder and CEO Umar Farooq accepted the award on behalf of the team at one of the region’s biggest education technology events.
The recognition follows Tech Valley’s partnership with Google for Education to drive digital transformation across public and private institutions in Pakistan. The company has helped schools, universities, businesses and government bodies adopt modern digital tools, trained educators, students and professionals to use them, and made affordable Chromebooks available to learners and institutions that need them most.
Tech Valley has also focused on safe and responsible technology use, promoting responsible AI use in classrooms and workplaces and working with parents, teachers and children to build safer online habits. The award recognizes this combined focus on access, skills and safety.
Farooq said the award belongs to every teacher, student, parent and institution that trusted the company, and that technology in Pakistan should be affordable, safe and useful for everyone. He said the recognition would push the company to reach more communities.
Tech Valley thanked Google for Education and its partners across government, academia, industry and civil society, and reaffirmed its commitment to building a digitally skilled, safe and future-ready Pakistan.
