Takht Bhai: Pakistan Peoples Party Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Syed Muhammad Ali Shah Bacha said the PPP is the true representative of the downtrodden, farmers, labourers and the poor, and has struggled since its founding for public rights, economic stability and social justice. He spoke to journalists during a visit to Takht Bhai.

He said the province suffered economic ruin and an administrative crisis during PTI’s 13-year rule, and that institutions were destroyed. He asked how the assets of elected representatives with weak finances before taking office grew so extraordinarily, adding that the damage of 13 years cannot be undone in 13 days and requires serious planning and honest leadership.

Bacha said the party’s politics centers on service, stable democracy and the supremacy of the Constitution, guided by Roti, Kapra aur Makan. Its manifesto includes the Kisan Card, Hari Card, Benazir Mazdoor Card and Youth Card, an expanded Benazir Income Support Programme, and free education and health care.

He announced that Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will soon visit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and address a large rally in Mardan or Malakand Division.

He also offered condolences and Fateha for Jahanzeb Khan, son of the late founding leader Khan Fazal Maula Khan. District and tehsil leaders attended.
