Rawalpindi: Sheikh Abdul Waheed, President of Anjuman Tajiran Liaquat Road Rawalpindi and the Inter-City Hotel Association, said the sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces and security institutions in the fight against terrorism are a source of pride for the whole nation. He said the country stands firmly behind them to eliminate terrorism and establish lasting peace.
Calling terrorism a major challenge to Pakistan’s security, development and stability, he said it can only be overcome through national unity and collective effort. He added that hostile elements cannot weaken Pakistan, as the nation remains united with its armed forces.
Paying tribute to the martyrs, Waheed said their sacrifices would always be held in the highest regard. He reaffirmed that the business community stands alongside national institutions against anti-state elements and will play its full role in safeguarding Pakistan’s security, sovereignty and stability.
