Dubai :Arabian Travel Market has announced its 2027 theme, “Travel without boundaries: Shaping global travel through experience.” The event runs 3–6 May 2027 at Dubai World Trade Centre.
The ATM Travel Trends Report 2026 shows travellers increasingly choose an experience first and plan logistics around it. 56% of consumers are more interested in exploring new destinations than two years ago, rising to 68% among prospective visitors to the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia. Half want more local food and drink, and 30% show greater interest in event-related travel.
The theme will unfold through four pillars: Experience, Opportunity, Innovation and Possibility, each “without boundaries.” Technology remains central, with AI’s growing role in trip planning balanced against human expertise. ATM Travel Tech returns, alongside the Global Stage, Future Stage and Experience Hub.
The research forecasts international arrivals growing 8% worldwide and 17% across MENASA in 2027, following 2026 disruptions. Visitor nights are projected to exceed 29 billion by 2030, with destination spending reaching US$10 trillion.
