Pakistani News operates under an independent editorial policy. We are not affiliated with any political party, group or organization. Our loyalty is only with the truth and the public interest of Pakistan. This policy explains how we gather, verify and publish news, and how we correct our mistakes.

• Our editorial decisions are made by our editors, free from political, commercial or personal pressure.
• Advertisers, sponsors and partners have no influence over our news coverage.
• Our journalists must declare any conflict of interest and step away from stories where they cannot be impartial.

In an era of fake news, we are committed to journalistic integrity. Every story we publish is verified, sourced and presented with clarity.

• We check facts, figures and quotes before publication.
• We rely on credible, named sources wherever possible and use anonymous sources only when necessary to protect them.
• We do not publish rumours or unverified claims as fact. Developing stories are clearly marked and updated as more information is confirmed.

• We give the people and organizations we report on a fair chance to respond.
• We present different viewpoints on contested issues and avoid language that is biased or sensational.
• We treat people with dignity and avoid stereotypes based on religion, ethnicity, gender, region or class.

We clearly separate straight news reporting from analysis and opinion. Analysis and opinion pieces are labelled, and the views expressed in them belong to their authors and not necessarily to Pakistani News.

We make mistakes sometimes, and when we do we correct them quickly and openly. Significant corrections are noted on the article. If you believe a story contains an error, please write to us with the article link and details, and our editors will review it promptly.

• We credit original sources, agencies and photographers.
• We do not copy content from other publishers without permission and proper attribution.
• We avoid publishing graphic images unless they are essential to the story and presented with care.

We respect people's privacy and take extra care when reporting on victims, minors, families in grief and survivors of violence. We protect confidential sources and do not publish information that could put someone at risk without a clear public-interest reason.

Any advertising or sponsored content on our website will be clearly identified and kept separate from our editorial coverage.
